Mobile billboards — Industries
Mobile billboard advertising for retail stores
A retail store's problem is simple: thousands of your customers drive past your centre every day without knowing you are inside it. A mobile billboard parks on the approach routes across Johannesburg and greater Gauteng and tells them — your store, your offer, your location — from R200 a day.
Why retailers get results from a trailer
Centre signage advertises the centre. Your board on the road advertises you — before the shopper has parked, walked in and been captured by whatever they see first. For a store opening, that difference decides whether launch month is busy or quiet: HiFi Corp ran a store opening board with us beside a West Rand main road for exactly this reason.
Retail is also promotional by nature. Month-end, Black Friday, back-to-school, stock clearance — a static billboard locks one message to one spot for a contract, while a trailer takes a new board in 2 – 3 working days from our in-house printer and moves four times a month to follow the traffic. The board keeps pace with your promotional calendar instead of outliving it.
What retailers put on the board
- — Store opening boards. Up on the approach routes for the month before and after opening day. This is the highest-impact campaign in retail — a suburb only discovers a new store once.
- — One offer with a number. "Fridges from R3 999" pulls; "Quality appliances for the whole family" does not. We flag offer-free artwork before it prints.
- — Seasonal pushes. Black Friday, festive season, back-to-school, winter sales — timed campaigns at a fixed daily rate.
- — "We are inside [centre name]". For stores hidden inside large centres or off the main road, the board is the signage your lease never gave you.
- — Clearances and relocations. Moving or closing a branch is exactly the message a suburb needs to see on its daily route.

Straight answers for retailers
How far ahead should we book for a store opening?+
Two to three weeks is comfortable: printing takes 2 – 3 working days from approved artwork, and most campaigns are live within 3 working days. If you have a hard opening date, tell us upfront and we plan the print and placement schedule backwards from that day.
Can we change the board for each promotion?+
Yes. Because we print in-house, a new board is ready in 2 – 3 working days — many retailers plan artwork around their promotional calendar so the next board is printed before the current promotion ends.
We are a national chain. Can you run boards for more than one branch?+
Yes, for your branches in Gauteng — one trailer per branch, each parked in its own branch's catchment, each with its own weekly photo report. Our service area covers 16 suburbs across Johannesburg and greater Gauteng. One WhatsApp thread can run the whole account, and formal quotes by email are available for head office procurement.
Can the board park near our centre specifically?+
That is the standard placement: the high-traffic approach routes and intersections feeding your centre, matched to your trading hours. Tell us the centre and we will come back with the specific spots we can get you.
